Clark SSH Team Put Clark University in the 3rd Place at the Northeast Preliminary of the NENA region for ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest

Five computer science students from Clark University participated in the Northeast Preliminary of the NENA region for ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest at Western New England University in Springfield, MA, on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014. 

The students did very well.

The Clark *SSH* team, consisted of Sam Kovaka '16, Sarjan Shrestha '16 and Hoang Nguyen '16, solved 6 out of the 7 problems and placed Clark as the 3rd place university in the competition.

The Clark *Random Big Time* team, consisted of Bingkun Fang '15 and Tiangcheng Jiang '15, solved 4 out of the 7 problems. 

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science is really proud of the effort put forth by both teams, and we congratulate the five student for their excellent performance!
